The best investments....

I'm sure everyone has gone and purchased something that was supposed to be a "can't live without", only to find that it really wasn't "all that".

Well, I have invested in a couple things lately, that I don't know how I managed without!

The first was purchased nearly a year ago, and we use it in someway daily.

  1. I agree with you on both things! Startwrite is great and I appreciate the ideas you gave also. The comb binder is also so very nice. It's wonderful to bind as much or as little as I find useful.

  3. We just got our comb binder...and I love it. I too have begun realizing how much paper we use. I buy digital, but don't want all of our curriculum digital. I keep a recycling basket near where I am working to put all the paper scraps in. I also try to buy as much materials made out of recycled products (paper, pencils, pens, markers, etc) as possible. We recycle our ink cartridges at Staples and only purchase the refurbished ones from them.
I really enjoy your blog. I am visiting from the workboxes yahoo group, plan on following you.

  4. MommyKuehner, I recycle my cartridges too, and paper. I don't buy the cartridges from Staples as they are still pricey, I get them from a store on Ebay, and they often offer free shipping. I get them for my printer for about $8 each cartridge with beats the $50 new, or $30 refurbished the have in the stores. Here's the link. They've been great! http://shop.ebay.com/familyactionstore/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25
